On August 25, 1905, the Shenandoah Herald published an article stating that the Grand Master of the Grand Lodge of Virginia had laid the corner stone at the Methodist Church in Woodstock with the assistance of Casia Lodge No. 142 on the 16th. The met in the hall of the Confederate veterans at 1pm, opened the lodge at 2 pm, and marched to the church on South Muhlenberg street. Many representatives from neighboring lodges were present including Unity Lodge No. 146.
