![Front Royal Masons Will Build Temple

FRONT ROYAL, VA., Oct. 27. - Unity Lodge, A. F. & A. M., has recently purchased the R. E. Purdham property on Main Street. The entire front of the property will be remodeled and made into office rooms. The contract for the construction of the temple has been let to L. I. Poe, of Marshall.
According to plans, the new building will be 60x34, two stories high, of brick construction to conform to the present building, which will be extended 60 feet in the rear. The original cost of the Purdham property was ,500, and the addition and improvements as contracted for will cost ,000. The building committee is formed of J. H. Shiner, Thomas McNamara, J. N. The Richmond Times-Dispatch reported that the Front Royal Masons were building a temple in Front Royal on Main Street at the R. E. Purdham property purchased for $10,500. The front of the property will be remodeled to have office rooms, two stories high of brick, and have a 60×34 footprint. In addition, the building will be extended 60 feet in the rear bringing the cost of all improvements to $15,000.
