Oyster Supper

An oyster supper was announced for the 22nd of February by the Masons, Odd Fellows, Red Men and Temperance. W. O. Rust, D. Hoshour, J. G. Brown, and J. W. Gulley composed the Special Committee. The following ladies composed the committee of arrangements: Mrs. Fannie Peyton, Mrs. Jinnie Kirby, Mrs. R. Perry, Mrs. Thomas Firth, Mrs. Mollie Grimes, Mrs. Mary Henning, Mrs. Ella Coverstone, Mrs. I. H. King, Mrs. Flora Bowman, Mrs. Jane Maddox, Mrs. T. Cover, Mrs. Alice Updike, Mrs. D. Cone, Mrs. Thomas Ashby, Mrs. Leroy Leach, Miss Lucy Weaver, Miss Nellie Hoshour, Miss Mary Anderson, Miss Emma Petty, Miss Willie Perry, Miss Bettie Putnam, Miss Ella Trout and Miss Jane Jones.
