Masons Unveil Portrait of Dr. F. T. McFaden Large numbers of the Masonic fraternities of northern Virginia, and many more distant points were in Winchester Monday night for the special communication of Hiram Lodge No. 21, A. F. and A. M., at which time a large life-size framed portrait of the late Rev. Dr. Frank T. McFaden was unveiled by Dr. William Moseley Brown, Grand Master of Masons in Virginia.

Dr. Brown, of Clarendon, made the principal address, which was eminently fitting and eloquent. He paid a high tribute to the matchless character of Dr. McFaden, which he designated as personality, geniality, optimism and an all-gracious friendship.
The favorite hymn of the late Dr. McFaden, ‘Father, What E’er of Earthly Bliss” was sung by a quartet composed of William D. Wagner, George B. Bushnell, Floyd W; Haines, Joseph Hodgson, with Elmer V. Hodges, as organist This group also sang an ode.
Prayer was offered by the Rev. Dr. Hubert Sydenstricker, chaplain. Further tributes were made extemporaneously by visiting Masons. The closing prayer was given by the Rev. Dr. F. W. Locke, of Winchester.
