Many Masons See Father Confer Degree On Son

Between 50 and 60 Masons, including visiting representatives of Winchester, Woodstock, Mt. Jackson, Luray and Frederick, Md., lodges, attended the regular-communication of Unity Lodge, No. 146, of Front Royal last night.

The unusual feature of the meeting was the conferment of the Mater Mason’s degree by a father on his son. I. G. Bierer, past master of the Front Royal lodge, was extended the courtesy acting Worshipful Master for the ritual which inducted his son. Billy Bierer, as a Master Mason. Charles B. Samuels of Front Royal, made an impressive non-ritual-address suitable to the occasion.

After the meeting refreshments were enjoyed.
