Master’s Message

Brethren of Unity Lodge No.146 A.F.&A.M.,

I hope you and your family had a very Merry Christmas and I wish you a safe and prosperous New Year. As I reflect back on the many blessings in 2012, I am thankful for a beautiful and loving family who supported my passions and dreams that allows me the time to commit to, grow and mature in Ancient Craft Masonry.

As I look forward to this New Year, I pray that the Great Architect of the Universe gives me the patience, strength, wisdom, and steadfastness to lead and govern our lodge as we chart a new direction and face new challenges. I pray for healing of our lodge and that each Brother reflect on and renew our most solemn obligation we took upon ourselves freely and voluntarily at the sacred alter. Let us remember that valuable instrument that teaches us Friendship, Morality
and Brotherly Love. Admonish a Brother of his error and aid a reformation.

We cannot advance into the future if we choose to live in the past. The choice is ours. We have an opportunity at our doorstep to make a difference. Our thoughts help us create the reality we experience. Whether that experience is good or bad, all of it is determined by our thoughts. Our thoughts create our emotional state. They affect our health. Our thoughts even influence what we do and say to people. No matter what the situation or circumstances, everything we do stems from thought. Then the thought turns into feelings, which turn into actions, and then finally results.

I would like to challenge you to contemplate these three questions; Do your thoughts create a positive influence and outcome in our Craft? Do your Brothers look at you as a positive role model in Freemasonry and our Lodge? Would your Brothers trust your whisper of good council in their ear?

I ask that you join me as we re-commit to making 2013 one of the best years at Unity Lodge.
