Sisters and Brothers,
February is almost over and hopefully this cold weather with it. There has been much sickness throughout the Star and Masonic families and I send my sincerest wishes that all are getting well now.
March will be a very busy Month for the Eastern Star, there are installations of new officers almost every Saturday through out the district. With schools, meetings and installations most of us will be very busy.
Below is the list of installations I have to date.
Front Royal Chapter # 6, Open installation of Officers will be on Saturday, March 2nd at 2:00 pm.
Spurmont Chapter #64 in Strasburg will have their open Installation on Saturday, March 9th, at 2:00 pm.
Woodstock Chapter # 93 will have a CLOSED installation on their meeting night, Thursday, March 14th, at 7:00 pm Only member may attend a closed installation.
McKinley Chapter #19 in Winchester will have an open installation on Saturday, March 16th, at 3:00 pm
Page Chapter # 24 in Luray will have an open installation on Saturday, March 23rd, at 2:00 pm
All are invited to an open installation.
We extend an invitation to our Masonic brothers who may be interested to come and bring their wives and families so we may get better acquainted. We would like to interest more ladies and gentlemen to consider becoming members and be able to share a fraternal experience, and this is a chance to see some of our ritual and ceremony. We can only promise good fellowship, new friends and lots of hugs. Oh yes and food? There is always a reception after with good food.
