According to Albert Mackey, Noah preserved a system of religious instruction similar to Freemasonry before the flood. The Tower of Babel, under Nimrod’s guidance, also plays a part. These legends continue to influence Masonic rituals today.

Royal Arch Chapter
The High Priest and officers of Hiram #45 Royal Arch Chapter extend greetings. The Grand High Priest of Royal Arch Masons, James Aurthur Fields, will visit the 15th Capitular District at Winchester’s John Dove #21 on August 10th at 6 pm. Various events including meetings and instructional sessions are scheduled in August.

The Grand Lodge has received the delinquent membership list and will be sending letters soon. Respond promptly to express your wishes. Remember, suspension in the blue lodge extends to other pendant bodies. Each delinquent member costs $38 in Grand Lodge Dues, totaling $570. Help catch up by December 31, 2013 and support new applicants.

The evening continues with an Open Master Mason’s Lodge, featured speaker Right Worshipful Kevin J. Davidson, and a Masonic Education Lodge Talk on “Why Mentoring.” Brother Secretary will address administrative matters at 9:30pm.
