Master’s Message

The Lodge has a special meeting planned for July 1, 2015, including an awards dinner and ceremonies honoring long-standing members. Additionally, a Master and Wardens meeting will be held in Winchester on July 30th. RSVP for the dinner by June 27th, and don’t forget to support the lodge breakfast on June 27th.

The chapter had a busy June, conferring degrees and beginning a leadership course. Upcoming events include degree conferrals, a school of instruction, and a convocation. Companions are encouraged to attend stated and called convocations, with assistance available for those needing a ride. The Grand Royal Arch Chapter 207th Grand Annual Convocation is in November.

On July 1, 2015, Unity Lodge No. 146 will hold a Stated Communication with an open Master Mason’s Lodge at 6:00pm, followed by dinner and an open meeting, closing at 9:00pm. Dinner will be at Stewart C. Payne Social Hall and costs $10.

The Candidate for initiation experienced a series of setbacks while traveling to the Lodge. After his car broke down and his bicycle chain snapped, he ingeniously used a cord to fix it and freewheeled to his destination. Surprisingly, the WM knew about his unconventional journey, leaving the candidate feeling proud and mystified.
