Hello!
Wow, it’s been another very busy month for Unity Lodge. We started off the month on the 1st with our Stated, followed by the one day conferral in Alexandria. The next Wednesday we had the honor and pleasure of raising our newest brother Robert “Bob” Nickols! I would like to say thank you to all who participated to make the evening a success, please see picture on the left. A special thanks to Charles Taggart (SW) for sitting in the East for the first part and to ALL those who traveled from other lodges to support, it’s appreciated!
Then we had a special brother (Mr. Bill Wood) turn 95 years young on the 13th.
This was followed up by Unity hosting SLOT training for the District (picture to the right) in which we (Kevin Walek, Wes Hammock, Charles Taggart, and myself) cooked breakfast for approx. 15 brothers. The SLOT training was conducted by our DDGM Terry Shaffer and brother Mickey Moats. We then had a RAC District school, last Saturday Breakfast, Unity hosted the GC official visit to District 4, and we will be finishing up this Thursday with a District School being hosted by Spurmont at Unity!
