From The Master

Brethren,

If you have not been attending Lodge or any of the events this year, then you have been missing out. But the good news is that you still have over half of the year left to become more active. In the past 30 days alone we have initiated a new brother into our fraternity, raised a brother to Master Mason, sponsored a DeMolay event, A Widow’s/Mothers dinner and SMIB BBQ team has had two fund raising events. Not to mention our weekly ritual practices and multiple fellowship opportunities. If you did not attend the last stated communication, then you missed out on our Lodge awarding two scholarships, approving the Luray Commandery to hold their meetings at Unity and a program on the importance and symbology of the Fellowcraft Degree.

We are beginning to plan for next years’ 150th Anniversary of Unity Lodge, founded in 1870. Now is the time to clean off the rust from your trowels and return to labor. We will keep the light in the East on for you.
