On Friday, July 19, 2019 at 6:00pm, Most Worshipful William Edward “Bill” Hershey, Jr. 174th Grand Master of Masons in Virginia, will make his Official Visit to Masonic Districts No. 2 & 3.
The event will be held in the social hall of the Blue Ridge Volunteer Fire Department, 131 Retreat Road, Bluemont, VA 20135. The Grand Master and his wife are expected to arrive no later than 6:00pm and dinner will be served at 6:30 pm. Grand Lodge Officers and the Grand master’s party will wear tuxedos, while other Brethren may wear suits. Ladies may wear church attire.
This will be a non-tiled event and is open to anyone that purchases a ticket. I strongly encourage you to attend with your family. I have had the opportunity several times in the past to see the Grand Master’s presentations, and it has always been thought provoking and well worth my time.
There will only be 200 tickets available for this event, and Unity Lodge has only been allocated 20 of them. I have these tickets for sale at a cost of $15 each. They will be sold on a first come first served basis. If we have more Brethren and their guests that wish to attend, it may be possible to purchase tickets from other Lodges in the District, however there is no certainty of availability of tickets, past our allotted number. If you wish to attend, I urge you to purchase your tickets as soon as possible. I will have them available at all Lodge events, as long as my limited supply lasts.
