The Shenandoah Valley Chapter of DeMolay have started to conduct their meetings on the second and fourth Tuesdays of the month. It is a joy to watch these young men learn to work as a group and come together. Although we refer to the SVCD as a Chapter, this is not entirely accurate. As of right now the SVCD has five members and is therefore considered to be a DeMolay Club, rather than a Chapter. To be considered as a Chapter, we must have 15 boys, so if you know any young men which you think could benefit from the lessons which our fraternity holds so dear, please let them know of the opportunity which the SVCD can provide.
I would also like to personally thank the Brothers of our Lodge for helping to financially support the SVCD. I am proud to inform you that due to the contributions by members of the Lodge, we were able to present the Grand Master at his official visit with a check for $550 to support the SVCD.
