On July 19th, Most Worshipful William Edward “Bill” Hershey, Jr. 174th Grand Master of Masons in Virginia, made his Official Visit to Masonic Districts No. 2 & 3. There was a very large crowd and was moderated by our own, Right Worshipful Dennis Haas.
The event was well attended by Brothers and widows from Unity Lodge as well as members of the newly formed Shenandoah Valley Chapter of DeMolay who acted as parking attendants and assisted with kitchen and clean-up duties. This event was used for fundraising for the various Masonic youth groups. The SVCD received donations from the attendees as well as Unity Lodge, Spurmont Lodge and the Luray Commandery.
