New Members of Unity Lodge
The Unity Lodge recently raised Brothers Cole Haase and Mark Butler to the Master Mason degree, expressing gratitude to assisting brothers and seeking more participation in lodge degree practices. Additionally, the fraternity initiated Brothers George Money and Ed Broome, planning their Fellowcraft Degree for Wednesday the 21st. Read more

The Blue Lodge has several upcoming events, including dinners, ritual practices, and meetings. Non-Blue Lodge activities involve various organizations, and there are also events being held elsewhere. Important future events include a Bring a Friend Picnic in September, Masonic Family Day in October, and the 2019 Grand Annual Communication in November. Read more

Friend to Friend Masonic Memorial
In 1993, the Grand Lodge of Pennsylvania erected a Masonic Memorial honoring the bonds of friendship between Freemasons of the Union and Confederacy. The memorial depicts the friendship between Union General Winfield Scott Hancock and Confederate General Lewis Addison Armistead, who fought on opposite sides during the Civil War, and their poignant encounter at Gettysburg. Brother Heyward Grady Kolb, Jr passed away on June 2nd in the Virginia Beach Area. The Brothers of Princess Anne Lodge No. 25 in Virginia Beach performed the Masonic burial rites for Brother Kolb and his family. Read more

On June 1st, I attended the initiation ceremony and DeMolay Degree for the new members at Shenandoah Valley DeMolay Chapter, alongside Right Worshipful Haas and Brother Nickols.
