Message from the Master

Brethren,

April has come and gone without a meeting of our Brothers and now we are looking at the same for May, but I know that our Lodge is as strong as ever. We have two candidates chomping at the bit to proceed with their initiation into our fraternity, and I can assure you that as soon as the restrictions have been raised, we will have them join us. Now is the time for us to reach out to our neighbors and assist them in any manner that they require. I urge you all to reach out to at least three people to see how they are fairing in this troubled time. If they need help, then help them.

I also know that many of us are going stir crazy in our homes and are more than likely driving our families insane, but we must remember that we are all in this together and that our families are the strongest pillars in our lives.

I know that my wife has expressed a great deal on concern with the possibility of me contracting COVID-19 due to my occupation and has done everything in her ability to keep me safe. Just the other night I woke up and she was making sure that I had respiratory protection from this virus, although admittedly it was difficult to breathe with her holding the pillow on my face so firmly, bless her heart.

I truly long for the camaraderie of my Brothers and am looking forward to when we can all meet again. Until then, wash your hands often, don’t touch your face and keep each other in your hearts.

God Bless,

Charles
