Upcoming Dates

In October, Unity Lodge has a stated communication on the 7th, blue lodge ritual practices on the 14th, 21st, and 28th, and a RAC Hiram meeting on the 16th. Some events are still TBD. Unfortunately, the Unity Lodge breakfast on the 31st has been canceled.

Quarry Lodge 2020

The September stated communication at Hanson Quarry was a success, with Most Excellent Raymond Steele presenting a fantastic program. The event brought together owners, workers, and Brothers in a scenic venue. The lodge now proudly displays a new rough ashlar, gifted by the quarry in commemoration of their 150th anniversary.

Masonic Ballot Box

Two masons wearing aprons are depicted in a picture, with the Senior Deacon holding a ballot box and the Worshipful Master choosing a ball to vote with. The text humorously notes the date (May 15th, 1785) as the first known use of the “Quit playing with your balls” joke.

Masonic Community Blood Program

20 units have been collected, which accounts for 16% of the total membership strength.

Dues Increase

The October 7th Stated Communication will address a proposed $8 increase in annual dues from $117 to $125. The raise aims to cover rising Lodge upkeep and utility expenses.
