Masons, Music, and Mashed Potatoes: A Thanksgiving Feast with Harmony

On November 17, 2022, members of the Front Royal Masonic Lodge brought the spirit of Thanksgiving to the Warren County Senior Center. They cooked a delicious Thanksgiving feast at the lodge, transported it to the center, and served it to the residents with the help of the Warren County Sheriff’s Office.

Brothers Dale Perry and Will Bryan from the lodge led the charge in the kitchen, preparing a traditional Thanksgiving meal with all the trimmings. They were joined by Sheriff Mark Butler and Lieutenant Terry Fritts, who not only helped serve the food but also brought along Sheriff Butler’s guitar to provide some live music for the occasion.

The senior citizens at the center were grateful for the delicious meal and the festive atmosphere. Many expressed their appreciation to the Masons and the Sheriff’s Office for taking the time to make their Thanksgiving special.

The event was a reminder of the important role that Masons play in their communities. They are not only a fraternal organization, but also a group of men who are dedicated to giving back to those in need.
