In a solemn ceremony on April 19, 2023, Terry Wayne Fritts ascended to the esteemed rank of Master Mason, marking a significant milestone in his Masonic journey. The initiation took place at Unity Masonic Lodge No. 146, a sacred space for Masons seeking enlightenment and brotherhood.
Earlier in the day, a small gathering of Masons convened at Soul Mountain for a pre-ritual dinner. Among the attendees were some who had yet to experience the third-degree ritual, eagerly anticipating the day they, too, would ascend to the Master Mason level. The serene surroundings of Soul Mountain provided a fitting backdrop for the brethren to share camaraderie and reflect on the significance of the upcoming ceremony.
Worshipful Will Bryan, a prominent member of the lodge, shared his insights on the occasion. He mentioned that Terry Fritts, with a commitment to the principles of Freemasonry, had become the third Mason to be raised to the Master Mason degree at Unity Lodge this year.
