Masonic Magic: Unity Lodge No. 146 Lights Up Jack O’Lantern Jubilee

The spirit of Halloween was in full swing on October 26, 2023, as Unity Masonic Lodge No. 146 brought smiles and sweet treats to the Warren County Department of Social Services’ 3rd Annual Jack O’Lantern Jubilee. Dressed in their distinct hats and shirts adorned with Masonic emblems, members Will Bryan, Anthony Fisher, and Sam Cartee enthusiastically joined the festivities to spread joy and camaraderie.

As thousands of children, creatively decked out in an array of costumes, descended upon the event, the Masonic brethren set up a festive canopy booth to share the Halloween spirit. Positioned above a table adorned with spooky decorations, the Masons created a welcoming space that captured the essence of the season.

The centerpiece of the booth was a large bowl of candy, enticingly displayed amid the eerie surroundings. Placed strategically between large black plush spiders, a sugar candy skull, and other haunting Halloween embellishments, the candy bowl became a focal point for the young trick-or-treaters.

Will Bryan, the Worshipful Master of the local Masonic Lodge, expressed his enthusiasm for participating in the Jack O’Lantern Jubilee. “Thank you to all our brothers that donated candy and their time to support another amazing community event,” he shared. “Thank you to Warren County DSS for hosting such a great Halloween Jubilee. We can not wait for next year!”

The Masons’ participation in the Jack O’Lantern Jubilee underscores their commitment to philanthropy and community service. Beyond the candy distribution, the lodge members provided a friendly and welcoming presence, fostering a sense of unity and shared celebration during the Halloween extravaganza.
