This month’s Last Saturday Breakfast will be held on Saturday, November 30th, just after Thanksgiving. Breakfast will be served from 7:00 AM to 9:00 AM, and we warmly welcome brethren, their families, and the public to share a delicious meal and good company.
Breakfast Menu
Enjoy a hearty breakfast featuring:
- Coffee
- Pancakes and Blueberry Pancakes
- Bacon and Sausage
- Biscuits and Gravy
- Made-to-order Eggs

Some mornings, brethren contribute extra goodies like orange juice, donuts, or apple cobbler, though availability depends on the day. This month, we’re excited to add a sweet treat to the menu with a selection of Ice Cream Pies, including:
- Brownie Batter
- Turtle Cheesecake
- Devil’s Food (Dairy-Free & Gluten Free)
Paint Bowls and Support a Worthy Cause
After breakfast, join us for a creative community activity: painting bowls for the Annual House of Hope Empty Bowl Supper, which raises funds for a local charity. One of our brethren has participated in this event for three years and is eager to share the experience with everyone.
Painting is simple and fun for all ages!
- Bowls come pre-drawn with designs; just paint within the lines and enjoy the process.
- Once finished, the bowls will be fired, glazed, and sold at the charity supper in April.

Want to take home a painted bowl? For a $25 donation to the House of Hope, you can keep your bowl as a keepsake (after firing and glazing). At the Empty Bowl Supper, you’ll have the chance to select from a wide array of bowls, and for $35, you’ll receive a bowl of soup along with your selected bowl.
The House of Hope is a transitional program for homeless men, offering shelter, food, and guidance to help participants re-enter society, secure stable housing, and lead productive lives.
Afternoon Officers’ Meeting
In the afternoon, we’ll hold an officers’ meeting to discuss plans for the upcoming year. Feel free to stay after breakfast and paint bowls in the time leading up to the meeting. Lunch will likely be ordered for those who stick around.
We look forward to seeing you on November 30th for a day filled with good food, fellowship, and meaningful community service!
