At Unity Lodge No. 146, our commitment to serving the community is a cornerstone of who we are. This year, we proudly continued our annual tradition of supporting the Front Royal/Warren County CCAP Food Drive during the 2024 Camping for Hunger Campaign.
This impactful initiative, organized by the local radio station The River 95.3, is a week-long effort to raise awareness about food insecurity and collect donations to stock CCAP’s pantry. The station broadcasts live from the Royal Plaza Shopping Center each year for a week in November, rallying the community to come together and make a difference.
Our Lodge contributed a variety of essential food items, including:
- Green beans
- Baked beans
- Rice
- Blueberry pancake mix
- Syrup
- Tuna fish
- Instant coffee
These donations will go directly to families and individuals in need, providing warm meals and essential support during the holiday season.
Why We Do This
Freemasonry teaches the importance of helping others and giving back to the community. Supporting the Camping for Hunger Campaign is one way Unity Lodge No. 146 puts those values into action. By working together with our neighbors, we hope to ease the burden of hunger and bring hope to those who need it most.
