Grand Lodge Records declared Front Royal Lodge #102 extinct in 1825, and has no further knowledge of its existence until December 15, 1840 when it was revived or rechartered, shortly after which we learn from an old Minute Book which was presented to Unity Lodge #146 by one of its older members, that Front Royal Lodge #102, of a meeting that was held in its lodge rooms with the minutes recorded as follows:
At a meeting for Front Royal Lodge #102, held in the Lodge Room on Tuesday evening, the 30th of March, A.L. 5841; A.D. 1841, a Past Master’s Lodge was opened in due form.

The degree of Past Master was regularly conferred in due and ancient form upon x. x. xxxxxxxx, Senior Warden and x. x. xxxxxxxx, Junior Warden, and thereupon the Lodge was closed in due an ancient form.

The Master, Wardens, Treasurer, Secretary, and Deacons were regularly installed. On motion, it was unanimously resolved that the by-laws of Cassia Lodge, #142, be adopted for the regulation of this Lodge until others are adopted, and provided, however, that the regular meetings of this Lodge shall be on the evening of the fourth Thursday of each month.
On motion, brothers, Wm. x. x. xxxxxxxx and x. x. xxxxxxxx were appointed a committee to draft a Code of By-Laws for the governing of this Lodge and report the same at the regular communication in May next.
On motion, brothers, x. x. xxxxxxxx, x. x. xxxxxxxx, x. x. xxxxxxxx and x. x. xxxxxxxx were appointed a committee to procure suitable furniture for the Lodge room.
