recommended by Bro. x. x. xxxxxxxx, avouched for by Bro. x. x. xxxxxxxx.

Brothers x. x. xxxxxxxx, x. x. xxxxxxxx, and x. x. xxxxxxxx were appointed a committee to report upon the same at the next regular meeting.

There being no other business before the Lodge, it was closed in due form.

This was apparently the first meeting after being revived or re-chartered in the preceding December. It is interesting to note that the Lodge received an application for initiation at its first meeting. The old minute book covers a period from the above date until the 16th day of June 1851, during which time we find on the Roll of Front Royal Lodge #102 the following names, some of which have disappeared but many of which are well known today even though they have passed on to that journey from which no traveler returns. These were received and became Master Masons during these years.

The place of the re-organization meeting is only mentioned as being in the Lodge room, however, at the meeting of August 26th, 1841, a Committee consisting of x. x. xxxxxxxx, x. x. xxxxxxxx, x. x. xxxxxxxx, and x. x. xxxxxxxx reported that a room over the store of x. x. xxxxxxxx was available at $25.00 per annum, and the committee was thereupon instructed to fit up the room and acquire appropriate furniture.

The minutes of these early meetings are oft-times very meager. Members present were omitted in many instances; only four meetings are shown as having been held during 1845; five in 1846; none being shown from September 21, 1846 until November 15th, 1847. At the end of this period of members appear as such who were not accounted for in the minutes of prior meetings of the Lodge. A
