The Order of the Eastern Star (OES) is a Masonic-affiliated organization that admits both men and women. It is not a separate Masonic body for men like the Blue Lodge, Royal Arch, or Knights Templar, but rather, it is a coed organization associated with Freemasonry. The OES is considered a Masonic appendant body, and its membership is open to Masons and their female relatives.
Front Royals OES Chapter No. 6 is part of the Grand Chapter of Virginia Order of the Eastern Star, and in the 19th District.

The August meeting was a success, raising over $1,800 for charity. A luncheon is planned for October 5th, and a communication committee is being formed to keep in touch with members.
