Nearly 300 Masons from 50 lodges gathered in Woodstock, where J. H. Kelly of Kalamazoo, Michigan was conferred the degree of Master Mason by Naval Lodge of Washington. Sixty members of Naval Lodge No. 4 from Washington, D. C., will attend Cassia Lodge No. 142 A. F. and A. M. of Woodstock on June 9. In May 1923, the Shenandoah Herald reported on the “Regular Meeting Cassia Lodge,” noting four brothers raised together and their cousins’ presence, with three from Unity Lodge.
