    A postman came across an unsealed letter addressed to God, requesting $50 for a family in need. Being a Mason, he shared the letter at the lodge, and they raised $25. The postman delivered the money, but received another letter instructing future donations to go through the Knights of Columbus as the Masons kept half. Read more

    In a letter dated January 23, 1821, a Committee from Richmond Lodge, No. 10, expressed their inability to provide charity to Front Royal Lodge, No. 102, due to their own lodge’s financial constraints. They conveyed fraternal sympathies and hoped for others to help. This reflects the challenging circumstances of the Richmond Lodge at that time. Read more
