Sick and Distressed
Brother James E. Roop’s son, Christopher, tragically passed away on Christmas day in West Virginia. Jim, Chief of Police at the Haymarket, VA Police Department, attempted resuscitation but emergency services took 35 minutes to respond. Christopher, uninsured and between jobs, leaves the family with expenses. Contributions can be made at Fauquier Bank, Warrenton, VA. Read more

Masons Unveil Portrait of Dr. F. T. McFaden
The Masonic fraternities gathered in Winchester for a special ceremony to unveil a portrait of the late Rev. Dr. Frank T. McFaden. Dr. William Moseley Brown led the event, with Masons from various locations paying tribute to Dr. McFaden. The ceremony included hymns, addresses, and prayers in honor of the esteemed individual.
